Pedestrian Crossing Sign for School Zones (W11-2)
A Pedestrian Warning sign can be placed at, or in advance of, a pedestrian crosswalk. When placed in advance of a crosswalk, a supplemental plaque "Ahead" must also be placed underneath the sign. If the pedestrian sign is placed at the crosswalk, a corresponding "Crosswalk Arrow" should be placed underneath the sign. The Fluorescent Yellow/Green color was developed specifically for use in school zones to help differentiate from standard yellow warning signs. If your pedestrian crossing is not located in a school zone you may need the Yellow Pedestrian Crossing version of this sign.
